Phew! I’m just back from a crazy busy week shooting homes across Scandinavia for the Bright.Bazaar book. It was such an exciting and inspiring week (if a little tiring taking in five countries in five days!) and I really feel so excited to share the results with you soon. At one of the locations we shot a potential cover and it suddenly hit me how amazing it was to think of all the places in the world the pictures of these wonderful homes might be seen once they are published in the book. I took a few moments to soak it all in because to me this really is the experience of a lifetime. I won’t lie: it’s pretty tiring and there are times when my confidence waivers but I do know that I’m working as hard as I can to produce the best book I can!
On my travels I saw some super ideas for decorating with mint so I was inspired to seek out this lovely mint green living room. I love how refreshing mint shades have been layered into a palette of cool greys and whitewashed, chalky white hues. Notice how the green tones have been introduced in clean, modern and glossy finishes which gives the pieces emphasis against the weathered, rustic approach taken with the grey parts of the space. Mixing up textures across your main colour and the accent hue is a stylish way to bring visual definition to a scheme. What do you like about this mint living room, friends?

Love the mint and grey , in love with pastels and this combo is so refreshing!!
I love the sofa – where could I get one exactly like it?
@Barbara – Try Designers Guild or Bemz for ombré fabric and upholstery. Bemz make slipcover for IKEA furniture which are great!
@Barbara The gorgeous sofa shown here is none other than our Margot! Two seaters start from £845 and it’s available in any one of our 70+ house fabrics – or a designer fabric, including Designers Guild like Mr. B suggests, so you can recreate exactly this look at home!
Oh I love this room & that sofa is delicious!

You’ve been a busy guy! I love the color mint, and paired with grey it is awesome.
Love it! I am going through a minty phase as well and loving it at Project Balcony. In your room, I love how the feminine & masculine elements are perfectly balanced … not too pretty and not too bachelor pad. It is just right!
so excited about your book and all the homes you get to visit. Yes please show us the book soon!

Absolute colour LOVE! 🙂
Hi Will, I love mint, and have a few splashes here and there. It’s such a fresh color I think. Glad you enjoyed your Scandinavia hopping, and I can totally understand how tired you must have been. So excited for you, (and us) as I can’t wait for the book. take care my friend,
Ax
This is literally my dream room. I love mint so much. I would love to live in this house.
I love this room, its stylish and serene. I love the contrast between the rustic weathered pieces and the bright ‘pop’s of colour. The balance is perfect and very easy on the eye. A few key pieces of furniture in a key colour can really complete a design. I would love to go to Scandinavia and wish you luck with your book :O)
@ChiChifurniture – Thank you, Emily!
