Greetings from Germany! I’m having a wonderful time on my holidays here in Munich. The weather has been unseasonably warm with clear blue skies and bright sunshine, although it would have been lovely to have snow, it’s actually been perfect for Christmas shopping without getting too cold. (If you’re in the mood for Narnia-like snowy scenes then check out my inspirations from a recent trip to Norway!) This is my first proper holiday without working all year and it’s been such a treat! We have been enjoying leisurely breakfasts, long city walks and inspiration-filled afternoons at art galleries, such as the colourfully clad (and oh-so-perfect for Mr. Bazaar) Brandhorst Museum. At every square there’s a charming Christmas market where lovingly displayed, handcrafted decorations and warming Glühwein await nestled amongst twinkling white fairy lights and festive foliage. And don’t get me started on the sunset light – it’s stunning. I managed to forget my camera’s battery charger, but of course that hasn’t stopped me taking some snaps on my trusty iPhone so I could share some of the city’s beautiful sights with you all. See you back here in a few days, friends!
