Today I celebrate half a decade of blogging and tomorrow I celebrate my 27th birthday. Then, in a matter of weeks I celebrate the highlight of my career to date: the publication of the Bright.Bazaar book. It feels bizarre(!) when I look back at how I’ve evolved from being a just-out-of-my-teens guy into a young man during the five years I’ve been blogging. Life has thrown me all sorts of curve balls in the past five years, as well as a host of money-can’t-buy experiences. What do I know for sure? That the intense hard work across the past half a decade wouldn’t have been anywhere near as fun if it wasn’t for the support of my dear fiancé, or YOU, my dear readers. That’s where you come in because today I’m giving you the chance to WIN one of 10 signed first edition copies of the Bright.Bazaar book. All you have to do is click the relevant link (American book giveaway or UK & Ireland book giveaway) and follow the on screen instructions. Easy! Good luck, friends. Keep reading after the jump for a breakdown and sneak peek into the three main chapters of the book… The book progresses in three sections, each aimed at helping you create a palette that’s personal to you, as well as arming you with the colour confidence to decorate your home in a vibrant and uplifting style that’s bursting with personality. The first, Colour Is Your Friend, is an introduction to the Bright.Bazaar take on colour, as well as a mix of quick and inspiring ways to invite more colour into your home that you can try today. Think of this as the courting period, where each new colour idea is a date for you to find your rhythm in your personal relationship with hue.Next is a series of ten Colour Cocktails, where I show you intriguing ways to discover the colours you like best and how to transform your everyday colour inspirations into stylish and vibrant colour palettes. Each of the ten palettes begin with my own inspiration pictures accompanied with personal storytelling of the events and experiences that originally inspired the idea for each colour pairing. The next page shows an inspirational mood board to spark creative ideas to bring the given colour scheme together, with helpful hints, tips and colour know-how to help you get it right. Finally, each palette includes real life homes from across the world (including my own!) that use the exact same palettes in a variety of inspiring ways. I love this section of the book because it’s not only very personal, but also includes lots of my favourite travel photographs. I never would have thought when I took some of these snaps that they would end up being printed in my own book (or any book, for that matter) so it’s certainly very special for me to see these in print. In the final section, Bringing Colour Home, I explore how to invite colour into every room in your home and make it work for you. Throughout the book I’ve included ‘Will’s Colour Secrets’ – nuggets of helpful colour know-how so that it feels like we’re on a bright and colourful journey together.

Wow! Your book looks great. I can’t believe you’re only 27! I hope you don’t think that’s rude? You’ve just achieved so much by 27. I’m 33 (I think! I’ve lost count) and I’ve been writing my food and craft blog for six month now and I love it. Seeing people like you have success really inspires me and makes me excited for any opportunities in the future. Thanks for sharing all your ideas and best of luck with your book. X

Love the look of the book. I’m not an american or a UK resident so I’ll have to get my copy through Amazon. I turned 27 in January and I think it’s gonna be a great year! I’m accomplishing a dream trip in June, got a new DSLR camera and taking some classes to use it properly and I’m gonna use you’re colourful book as inspiration (I love your pics of London and your many travels….I especially love the colourful doors I often see in your pictures (I have a condo right now so I can’t paint my door but one day, when I buy a house boy am I going to pick a great colour for the front door!). So congrats for your first 27 great years and cheers for the next many decades ahead of you 🙂
@Caro – Thank you for the kind words about the book. I loved reading about your adventures AND your plans to paint your front door a bright colour one day. I plan to do the same, too! 🙂
