Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all had a lovely weekend? Mine was a mix of work and play. After a super busy week last week where I kicked off the first of the design reveals from the beach house, I let off steam in a hard workout on Friday evening before cooking dinner back at the apartment. On Saturday, my heart mate and I had breakfast together at a cute spot in TriBeCa before working the rest of the day. We did spend the evening finishing up with our marathon of The Bold Type, though! Has anyone else been watching? We really enjoyed it! I always love a drama series that’s set in New York City, even better when it’s based around a magazine publishing house, which this series is. If you enjoyed Sex and The City or Younger then you’ll definitely love this! OK, another busy week ahead with filming for a TV segment (eeeek!) and lots of editing and meetings, so I’m going to dive straight into my weekend highlights…
1. I literally wanted to buy everything I saw inside TRNK’s new NYC showroom. Love the masculine Scandinavian vibe.2. This golden yellow front door was too damm cute not too include – and it reminded me that I still need to pick front door colors for the beach house!3. I bought this Baracuta® G9 Harrington jacket red jacket about three years ago from J.Crew and found it hiding in the back of my closet. I’ve kinda fallen in love with it all over again! If you love it too, it’s still sold in this colorway at Nordstrom.4. The latte art at Two Hands Restaurant and Bar is beyond. How pretty is this!5. One day I would love to own a Vespa. Isn’t this pale blue one a beauty? Worth having that cab toot its horn at me really loudly so I could get the shot! 😉6. The neon light installation inside the new Old Navy store in Times Square is pretty cool.7. I love rearranging the shelves and displays in our apartment. I pulled together this vignette last week and it’s still making me smile each time I look at it. I love the pop of yellow from the Billy Buttons!8. I walked past a flower truck called Uprooted and had to snap a picture of their adorable arrangements. I’d desperately wanted to buy one but I was at the start of a day running all over the city so it wasn’t practical. NY’ers look out for this cute truck full of blooms!9. As part of Open House Weekend in NYC I went to Scandinavia House (I’m a geek about all things Scandinavian!) on Sunday morning. Sadly, the part of the building didn’t open until 3pm and I had to work in the afternoon. Still, I snagged a quick pic of the beautiful Artichoke pendant by Louis Poulsen so it wasn’t all bad!10. I don’t normally take pictures of food (I’m too greedy and start eating straight away!) but my breakfast on Saturday morning was way too good not to take a pic! How was your weekend, everyone?

I can’t believe that you didn’t pick a door colour yet! You know you want it to be blue or mint 😛

@Didier – I know, I know! It’s just been so crazy with the shoots I had to do inside, then it was back to a construction zone to finish some other work! Can we like club together to buy and share a Vespa or something?! 😉
Killing it in the Baracuta jacket man. I have the green one.
@Justin – Nice! (Confession: I recently bought the green one too because I remembered how much I loved the red one!)
Just started watching The Bold Type…I love it! I also love the yellow door! Cute post xo

@Kate – Oh my goodness, that sounds so fun! Super jealous! 😉
For some unknown reason, I’ve always been partial to a yellow house. But if you can’t paint your whole house yellow, why not paint the door yellow, right? Love it. And the Vespa!
@Nat – Haha! I like your thinking! 😉
