Who else needs some last-minute holiday gifts? Maybe a delivery got lost or you just left gift shopping to the last minute. If it’s the latter, there’s no judgment here (we’ve all been there!), and don’t worry as I have a solution for you: the gift of scent from Pottery Barn. Pottery Barn has stores across the country and many of the below gifts are in store and ready for pickup, today. I’m partnering with them to share this guide with you.
Here is a review of Pottery Barn’s candles gifts to give my honest opinions of them and who they would be great to give to. If you have ticked everyone off on your list then maybe it’s time for a self-care gift? Carry on reading to find the scent that’s right for you.
We all have a friend that loves candles so much that they need a helping hand displaying them tidily! This is the gift for them. It’s a large, blackened candle tray with a rustic and handmade feel. If you have friends with either an industrial or rustic home design, this is perfect for them. It would look great singularly on a coffee table, or grouped in two or three along the centre of a long dinner table. Style it wiith some simple pillar candles and it would look stunning. You could easily put this together for someone as a gift/centerpiece. I think it works really well as a catch-all in a lobby, too. If you know someone who is always losing their keys or tv remotes then this would be the perfect way to help them out!
Our living room decorated for Christmas I love how the mantel looks dressed in holiday decor
If you have a friend who already has too many candles but you are looking for a great design gift for their home, then the Orion bowl would be perfect. It’s a large ceramic bowl that comes in white or black and would make for a stylish and thoughtful gift. It’s quite sizable so it would ideally suit a larger space where it would immediately lend a sculptural look, if you have a friend who loves decorating for the seasons it’s great because during the fall, for example, they can fill it with gourds, and then during the holidays replace the gourds for oversized baubles, then lemons in the summer and so on. This would also work well in an entryway as a catch all, or even on a dresser in a bedroom.
Need a stocking stuffer? Check out these mercury tea light holders and Pottery Barn’s flameless candles, which I have displayed on my mantel. They are affordable and the perfect stocking filler that people will love year after year..
This year’s Christmas tree Pottery Barn scented candles
These stylish candles come in a dark wood container and I like how they aren’t too masculine or too feminine — they could easily be a gift for anyone on your list. They have a modern monochromatic look that means they would look great in modern, farmhouse or cabin style interiors. The smell is very layered, it’s less sweet than the Snow Currant scent as the bergamot and lavender come through making it a clean and warming scent. It’s a candle for all the seasons. It smells fresh and has a hint of freshly washed laundry that I think makes it the perfect candle to burn in January for that fresh start feeling.
Pottery Barn scented candles
The Snow Currant scent range offers candles, diffusers and pot pouri. I liked this holiday scent because it’s very festive and warming. It has notes of apple clove and sandalwood, which make you immediately think of the holidays thanks to its rich and classic notes. Sweet-smelling candles aren’t usually my top choice but what I liked about Snow Currant is that it wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet and you could still smell the fragrance long after it was lit.. If you want to make your home a little more festive then this would make a lovely self gift!
What did you think of my Pottery Barn candles review, did I miss any?

Love all of those candles (who wouldn’t), but especially the beautiful Linen Cashmere Candles. The dark container creates a great contrast with the candle itself and the white Christmas decor.
We wish you happy holidays!
